On March 28, 2016 the bust sculpture of the late Estonian President Lennart Meri was unveiled in the foyer of the Foreign Ministry.

The 16th annual Estonian Artists’ Association exhibition opened at the Tallinn Art Hall, Tallinn Art Hall Gallery and Tallinn City Gallery. The exhibition, which includes works by 169 artists, was called the “Spring Exhibition” for the fifth time.

On May 25th Estonian sculptor Tauno Kangro celebrated his 50th birthday. The celebration however was slightly unusual. It was the artist's long dreamed wish to exhibit at the main city square in Tallinn

On October 2016 Tauno Kangro will exhibit his works with Helikon Opera in Moscow. The exhibition theme entails and discusses beauty, music and performing arts. On two nights Kangro demonstrates his live modelling for the audience during the performance, creating compositions from the live show.
